Thornbury Golf Centre boasts two stunning golf courses, both with magnificent views; the first
overlooking the Severn Estuary and the second across to the Cotswold Hills. Its clubhouse also offers its members cafe bar facilities and function suites, as well as a beautiful listed 16th century Farm House offering stay-on-site luxury accommodation for guests.
Hope & Co. was initially approached by the management team to provide a light-touch refresh to the Cafe Bar. With a limited budget, the space and existing furnishings were transformed through the clever use of colour and materials, giving the members and their guests an relaxing and inviting space designed with the perfect accents.
The second phase followed with the conversion and repurposing of staff accommodation into luxury guest suites. With a design brief to create the perfect place to unwind at the end of a long day or a long round of golf, Hope & Co. established the design narrative on a contemprary rustic lodge style to offer a uniquely luxurious feel. All rooms feature real timber panels and vanity counters, bespoke case goods, luxury bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, beverage station, fresh white bed linen and big fluffy bath towels.
