Golf Centre
The Shropshire engaged Hope & Co. to develop a phased renovation plan for the Centre. Phase One consisted of the full refurbishment of the function facilities of the historical Grade II Listed Victorian Farm House, which adjoins the Clubhouse, so as to be able to extend its offering to the local wedding market. In the first 6 months following the refurbishment, wedding bookings doubled and sales targets exceeded, with the venue's reputation as a unique and stylish wedding destination, secured.
Phase Two, carried out two years later, involved the replanning and refurbishment of the clubhouse bar to offer dedicated casual dining and more family-friendly facilities.

Having undertaken a comprehensive Membership Survey to gauge member satisfaction with the current facilities and the overall desire for club improvements, 72% of survey respondents indicated the importance of replanning the bar spaces and reallocating space to create two distinct areas: a Bar/Grill 'Pub' style area, and Casual Dining that was also Family-friendly. Additionally, 64% indicated a desire for an external patio for alfresco dining and socialising.
With its new feature bar, mix of seating types, and updated interiors scheme, the renovated Bar has quickly became the go-to social hub in the locale for members and non-members alike. The Casual Dining area (with bespoke floor-to-ceiling log display feature) has also attracted more users to the clubhouse for casual meals, including families.
